Product Overview

The ZW30A-40.5 is a three-phase AC 50Hz high-voltage switching device primarily used for the control and protection of 40.5kV transmission and distribution systems. It is also suitable for normal operation and short-circuit protection in urban, rural power grids, and industrial/mining enterprises. It can be used as a tie circuit breaker and for capacitor switching, and is particularly well-suited for frequent operation applications.

This product is equipped with a CT17-IVB spring operating mechanism, allowing for remote electric energy storage and remote electric closing/opening operations, as well as local manual energy storage and manual opening/closing operations. Furthermore, based on the ZW30-40.5 outdoor high-voltage SF6 circuit breaker, the ZW30A-40.5 outdoor high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker was developed, featuring externally mounted current transformers (CTs) and a CT17 spring operating mechanism. The three poles are mounted on a common base frame. The operating mechanism is located centrally beneath the base frame. A CT support bracket is added to the base frame, on which outdoor independent current transformers are mounted. The three poles of the circuit breaker are mechanically linked for simultaneous operation. The gas chambers between the pole plates are interconnected by copper pipes. The interrupting chamber, using the principle of a vacuum interrupter, is located within the upper porcelain housing. The vacuum interrupters are sourced from renowned manufacturers.
