Structural Features
The circuit breaker adopts a layout where the arc-extinguishing chamber is positioned above and the operating mechanism below, which facilitates commissioning and testing. It employs a composite insulation structure combining air and organic insulating materials, featuring a compact design and light weight.
It can be equipped with either vacuum interrupters from Cutler-Hammer (U.S.) or domestic ZMD vacuum interrupters. Both types of interrupters utilize longitudinal magnetic field arc extinction, offering low current chopping and excellent asymmetric breaking performance. The breaker is fitted with a simple spring operating mechanism, ensuring maintenance-free operation for up to 10,000 operations. A lead-screw truck mechanism provides effortless, smooth movement and reliable self-locking performance.
