NANTONG, JIANGSU, CHINA – August 7, 2026 – Trust In Grid Co., Ltd. today announced the successful energization of a critical 110kV hydroelectric upgrade project deep within the rugged canyon terrain of the Western United States. This achievement marks a decisive victory against the logistical and regulatory hurdles that initially threatened the project with over $250,000 in liquidated damages.
The project site, situated at an elevation exceeding 2,800 feet, presented a classic "rugged terrain" challenge. The EPC team had initially opted for three single-phase transformers to reduce upfront CAPEX. However, the narrow mountain roads, tight switchback turns, and strict IEEE C57 compliance requirements made this approach untenable.

By switching to a single Trust In Grid 110kV Oil-Immersed 3-Phase OLTC Transformer, the project team eliminated three major risks. Our unit's compact footprint required only one delivery and one heavy lift, reducing crane costs by nearly $15,000. More importantly, the transformer's five-limb core design ensured no-load losses were 12% below IEEE C57 limits, guaranteeing immediate acceptance by the local utility.
