Our LW8-40.5 series outdoor high-voltage SF6 circuit breakers feature a compact porcelain column design with an integrated CT14 spring-operated mechanism for straightforward installation, easy commissioning, and reliable operation.

• Rated voltage of 40.5kV with rated current up to 2000A; rated short-circuit breaking current up to 31.5kA with peak withstand current up to 80kA for robust fault interruption.

• Mechanical endurance exceeds 3000 operations with annual SF6 leakage rate less than 0.5% achieved through imported sealing gaskets and V-ring dynamic sealing with spring pressure compensation.

• Integrated current transformers utilize high-permeability nanocrystalline alloy cores, capable of achieving accuracy classes 0.2 or 0.2s; up to 12 built-in CTs available per customer requirements.

• Total break time ≤80ms with opening time ≤70ms and closing time ≤100ms for rapid fault clearing.

• Suitable for frequent switching applications; electrical endurance of 20 operations at rated short-circuit breaking current.

• Adaptable to harsh environments with altitude up to 2500m (4000m for plateau type), temperature from -40°C to +40°C, and pollution severity Class III.

Product Overview

 

The circuit breaker features an outdoor compact porcelain column design, equipped with a CT14 spring-operated mechanism. The mechanism is integrated with the main body for straightforward installation, easy commissioning, and reliable operation, making it suitable for frequent switching applications. Its mechanical endurance exceeds 3,000 operations. Reliable sealing performance is achieved through imported sealing gaskets and a dynamic sealing system utilizing a V-ring with spring pressure compensation. The secondary wiring terminal block for current transformers is supplied by a certified partner, ensuring an annual SF6 leakage rate of less than 1%. The integrated current transformers are constructed with high-permeability nanocrystalline alloy cores, capable of achieving accuracy classes 0.2 or 0.2s. Up to 12 built-in current transformers can be provided according to customer requirements.
